As our client portfolio grows, we are looking for an experienced Senior D365 F&amp;O Developer to support existing client environments, deliver technical enhancements and contribute to ERP implementation and transformation projects.<\/p>\n<h4>The Role<\/h4>\n<p>We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations Developer to take ownership of technical development, integrations, customisations and complex issue resolution across D365 F&amp;O environments.<\/p>\n<p>You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, solution architects and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The role combines BAU support and incident resolution with development, enhancements, integrations and project delivery. You will be expected to work independently in a fully remote environment, communicate effectively with UK, European and US stakeholders, and deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.<\/p>\n<h4>Key Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<h5>D365 F&amp;O Development<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, test and deploy technical solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain X++ code, extensions, customisations, classes, tables, forms, data entities and business logic.<\/li>\n<li>Follow Microsoft best practices and extension-based development principles.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain SSRS reports, business events and other D365 reporting or output solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Review existing customisations and recommend improvements to code quality, maintainability and performance.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers where required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Integrations &amp; Data Management<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, build and support integrations between D365 F&amp;O and third-party applications.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and troubleshoot integrations using REST APIs, OData, data entities, business events and relevant integration technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Support data migration, imports, exports and data validation using the Data Management Framework (DMF).<\/li>\n<li>Investigate integration failures, data inconsistencies and processing errors.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure, reliable and maintainable data flows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Technical Support &amp; Problem Resolution<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide senior-level technical support for D365 F&amp;O production and non-production environments.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents, defects and performance issues.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse root causes and implement permanent fixes rather than temporary workarounds.<\/li>\n<li>Support batch jobs, workflows, custom processes and system integrations.<\/li>\n<li>Work with functional consultants to resolve issues spanning business processes and technical components.<\/li>\n<li>Support critical business periods, including month-end, quarter-end and year-end, where agreed with the client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Environment, Deployment &amp; Release Management<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Support code promotion across development, test, UAT and production environments.<\/li>\n<li>Manage source control and development workflows using Azure DevOps.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment instructions and release notes.<\/li>\n<li>Support build pipelines, package deployments and regression testing.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with Microsoft platform updates, regression testing and environment management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure changes comply with established development standards, security requirements and release procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Client &amp; Stakeholder Collaboration<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Work directly with client stakeholders, functional consultants, business analysts and solution architects.<\/li>\n<li>Translate functional specifications into technical designs and development tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide realistic estimates, communicate progress and highlight delivery risks.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in technical design reviews, sprint planning and service reviews.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continuous improvement across client systems and CareFront&#x27;s managed services delivery model.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Essential Skills &amp; Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant hands-on experience developing solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance &amp; Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in X++ development and D365 F&amp;O extension-based architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns and application lifecycle management.<\/li>\n<li>Experience developing and maintaining tables, forms, classes, data entities, extensions and business logic.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SSRS reporting and D365 F&amp;O data management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience with integrations, APIs, OData and web services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Azure DevOps for source control, work items and release management.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of D365 F&amp;O security, batch processing, workflows and performance optimisation.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working across development, testing, UAT and production environments.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver within agreed SLAs.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable collaborating with distributed teams and international stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Desirable Experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of Azure integration services, Logic Apps, Service Bus and Azure Functions.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Power Platform, Power Automate and Power BI integrations.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Electronic Reporting (ER) and financial reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with automated testing and regression testing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within ITIL-based support or managed-services environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting multiple clients or complex enterprise ERP
